Eileen presented at the Seacoast Diabetes Expo to a wonderful group of interested food and health enthusiasts who were encouraged to make a FTLOF meal and share it with their friends and family.
Arts in Reach Tablescapes
Eileen Behan participated in the November fund raiser for Arts in Reach, making Fast and Fabulous Appetizers from For the Love of Food project as part of the Tablescapes Event. Look for it again next year!
Central School Garden Classroom
Last spring I was invited to Central Elementary School in South Berwick Maine for a fruit and vegetable taste testing event. Kathy Gunst a noted food writer and resident was the inspiration for bringing food and gardening into the class room. Read more about the school program and what they have accomplished.
Welcome Our New Intern
Elisa Loeser is a recent graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Politics and French. While at Mount Holyoke, she was an avid traveler. Elisa spent six months in Senegal, Western Africa studying French and one month in Ecuador studying the country’s sustainable environmental and agricultural practices. In the past two years, Elisa has developed a strong passion for nutrition and agricultural sustainability. She hopes to explore the field more before going back to school to pursue a degree in Nutrition. Elisa will be helping the For the Love of Food project with recipe testing and development.
