Grilled Pork and Peaches

Sam Sifton included a wonderful recipe for Grilled Pork and Peaches in a recent issue of the New York Times Sunday Magazine

It can easily become a FTLOF meal when paired with a side vegetable and a small potato as it is pictured here.  The recipe calls for  boneless pork butt, an inexpensive but often fatty meat. I trimmed it carefully to reduce the fat.

Be very generous with the garlic it gives the meat lots of flavor and provides a nice crunchy crust. The meal was delicious with pork but I plan to try it with a boned, and butterflied leg of lamb and I will probably pair the lamb with grilled tomatoes instead of peaches.
